A heat pump that suits your home.
Not every home is ready for a heat pump straight away. That is why we first look at your insulation, your radiators or underfloor heating and your consumption. Only then do we recommend a system.

Which heat pump could you look into?
The right choice depends on your home and your current heating.
Air to water
Replaces your boiler and heats the water for your radiators or underfloor heating. Often for hot water too.
Air to air
Heats room by room with indoor units. A logical step if you have no central heating.
Hybrid
A heat pump together with your existing boiler. A good intermediate step if your home is not quite ready yet.
Not every home is ready straight away. Full or hybrid: we recommend what suits your home, not what sells most easily.

What we look at when advising you
- Your heat lossWe determine the final capacity with a heat loss calculation, at your home.
- Your heat emittersUnderfloor heating or radiators: we check whether they work at a low water temperature.
- Full or hybridIf your home is not yet ready to go fully electric, a hybrid system can be a smart intermediate step.
- The position of the outdoor unitQuiet, accessible for maintenance and considerate of your neighbours.

Your questions about heat pumps
Is your question not listed? We are happy to answer it during a free advice meeting.
Why don't I get an exact capacity?
The right capacity is determined with a room-by-room heat loss calculation, for example according to NBN EN 12831. For that, we look at your home on site. The calculator gives a range as a first direction.
Does a heat pump work with radiators?
Often, yes, if your home is well enough insulated and the radiators are large enough. A heat pump works most efficiently with a low water temperature. Sometimes replacing a few radiators is enough.
What is a hybrid heat pump?
A smaller heat pump that works together with your existing boiler. The heat pump does most of the work, the boiler helps out when it freezes hard. That can be a good intermediate step if your home is not yet ready to go fully electric.
Can a heat pump also cool?
With underfloor heating or fan coil units, it can. With ordinary radiators, it cannot. For cooling specific rooms, air conditioning can be a better choice.
Do I need to insulate first?
Not always, but it is often wise. Less heat loss means a smaller heat pump and a lower water temperature. The calculator shows which improvements are worth looking into.
